Teliris, a provider of fully managed telepresence and collaboration solutions, announced the opening of its new European headquarters and state-of-the-art demonstration facility in London.
The new development emphasizes the company's banner year of telepresence solution deployments and orders. The expansion of their EU-based headquarter office is a direct result of the companies record growth in 2009 - both in deployments and order, company officials added.
In December last year TMCnet reported that Teliris has implemented Fraunhofer IIS' (News - Alert) acoustic echo control and high performance MPEG AAC low complexity audio codec, or "AAC-LC," technologies into its telepresence 6G platform.
Located in the historic LUC building at 3 Minster Court in the heart of London, the new offices will be fully equipped with Teliris (News - Alert)' latest 6G telepresence technology and portfolio of collaborative tools including the Teliris InterACT TouchTable, a multi-touch surface computing solution for telepresence, the company said.
The offices will also house Teliris' European Telepresence (News - Alert) Operations Centre, expanded sales and marketing teams and cutting-edge conference space.
"The clear ROI and flexibility that our 6G solution offers is being leveraged at an impressive uptake by a growing number of companies around the world," Marc Trachtenberg (News - Alert), Teliris CEO and co-founder, said. "Our new facility will help to support this overwhelmingly enthusiastic response to our newest innovation, as well as the growth of the next generation of telepresence and collaboration."
Lord Mayor Alderman Nick Anstee will officially unveil the Teliris European Headquarters and Customer Briefing Centre on April 20, 2010.
