March 26, 2010

4COM, Inc., has joined AltiGen's growing European reseller partner network and will formally operate under new AltiGen division – AltiGen UK Ltd.

AltiGen UK Ltd. will continue to expand AltiGen's existing reseller base in the United Kingdom as well as provide sales and support for strategic accounts.

'We are excited to have the opportunity to be an integral part of AltiGen's presence in the UK,' said Paul Fullman, managing director of AltiGen UK Ltd, in a statement.

Fullman said that as a true software-based Microsoft UC solution, MAXCS, AltiGen's flagship Unified Communications product, will attract resellers from a wider range of core skill sets and in particular, Microsoft VARs looking to get into voice or already selling legacy voice systems.

He said that in addition, the flexibility and scalability of the AltiGen solution allows the company to attract large strategic customers in need of a communications platform that both scales with their business needs and leverages existing IT infrastructure investments.

'AltiGen UK Ltd is already well under way in growing both our existing European customer and reseller base,' said Bill Glau, AltiGen's Director of Channels.

Glau said that as an award-winning reseller of Siemens for the past 10 years, 4COM brings years of expertise and market presence to AltiGen UK Ltd.

“We are already realizing the benefits of our new UK division and are eager to continue to grow our success abroad,' he said.

Jerry Fleming, AltiGen's president & COO said that over the last couple years, the company has made vast progress establishing a presence in the European market.

Fleming said that establishing AltiGen UK Ltd. fortifies this objective and will serve as the primary point of contact for distribution and large enterprise accounts in the UK.

AltiGen Communications is a provider of 100 percent Microsoft-based VoIP business phone systems and Unified Communications solutions.
