Apptix CEO Lands on SmartCEO's Smart100 List

Apptix, a provider of hosted Microsoft Exchange e-mail, Microsoft SharePoint and business VoIP services, announced today CEO Dave Ehrhardt has been included in Washington SmartCEO Magazine’s 2010 Smart100 list.

According to Apptix, Smart100 CEOs are recognized for leadership, strategic vision, and character in running a business. An independent committee selects CEOS for inclusion from a variety of industries, including information technology, government contracting, consulting, financial services, and video production.
Specifically, Ehrhardt is being recognized for his strategy and two-year leadership to rebuild every aspect of Apptix. As CEO, he helped lead a series of initiatives – including integrating previously acquired entities, divesting non-strategic and non-performing divisions, standardizing and consolidating the company’s technical infrastructure, and establishing a culture of operational and service excellence to turn the company around. Under his leadership, Apptix has turned into a source for mission-critical, cloud-based communication and collaboration services, the company said.
