Select Communications Adds to Sales Staff

August 30, 2018

Select Communications announced plans to build out its sales engineering staff. The expanded force will provide Select Communications with a team capable of supporting solutions from more than 130 vendors. More importantly, the expanded roster is stacked with expertise aimed at matching customers with the appropriate cloud communications solution.

Bringing a vendor-neutral approach to the table, the Select Communications team appoints an advisor for each carrier client. The advisor will support carriers in walking customers though a comprehensive discovery, pricing and implementation.

Jerry Goldman, Founder and CEO of Select Communications explains, “How is any one salesperson supposed to be an expert in the multitude of carriers we have today? It’s not possible. By bringing on more sales engineers to support our advisors, we can represent a wider breadth of products and guide businesses to make better-informed collaboration investments. It’s a huge win for our customers.”

In addition to its recent GCI Conferencing acquisition, the new sales engineering team presents a springboard opportunity within the UC/Cloud Communications arena.
