April 13, 2018

Quality of Service can pose a real problem with communications. A popular method to avoid this headache is deploying network orchestration software, such as SD-WAN, to optimize network performance, and deliver the expected level of performance. If the investment in a communications solutions is worth it, so too is ensuring it meets expectations.

Edgewater Networks and netsapiens announced a partnership this week, which enables the duo to deliver a complete unified communications and site orchestration solution to customers.

“We are excited to welcome netsapiens as a Cloud2Edge Complete Universal Partner,” said Russ Johnson, Senior Vice President, Worldwide Sales for Edgewater Networks. “netsapiens customers can now offer the power of Network Edge Orchestration to the SMB and Enterprise market as a cloud-based solution. Customers will be able to rapidly scale UC deployments and use real-time service quality management to reduce operating expenses and increase customer satisfaction.”

The companies recently completed certification of netsapien’s SNAPsolution in Edgewater Network’s QuickConnect Interoperability Lab. Now, netsapiens can provide customers with the Edgewater Networks Cloud2Edge Complete service, bringing together all the components of Network Edge Orchestration.

“Our partnership with Edgewater Networks will enable netsapiens service providers to have the best service assurance and security capabilities that will differentiate and enhance their Unified Communications offerings,” said Dave George, Sr. VP and General Manager of netsapiens. “Our service providers will be empowered to more rapidly deploy services off the netsapians platform, further reduce operating expenses and enhance the support of their customers.”

Selecting unified communications software is only the first in QoS. SD-WAN is a key cog in the wheels of digital transformation. For those seeking to ensure performance it is certainly worth looking in to.
