Sunrise Goes Platinum

December 19, 2017

Partnerships perpetuate expansion and success. In today’s highly competitive business VoIP landscape it is important to continuously move forward. Whether it’s through partnership or merger and acquisition, sitting on one’s laurels is never a good idea. In business VoIP, a company is either growing or falling behind.

This week, Sunrise announced it received Platinum Partner status from AudioCodes, allowing the Swiss operator to deploy the AudioCodes One Voice portfolio and offer voice infrastructure for those leveraging Sunrise’s UC and VoIP offerings.

The complete list of AudioCodes products Sunrise offers include: HD, Microsoft-certified IP phones; Mediant session border controllers (SBCs) and media gateways for seamless voice connectivity; Mediant CCE Appliance delivering on-premises voice connectivity for Skype for Business Online customers; and centralized device and network management with real-time voice quality monitoring.

When it comes to SBCs, AudioCodes is a preferred strategic Microsoft partner. For Sunrise, SBCs serve to offer the interface between it and enterprise customers, being the primary link between SIP trunking and VoIP network services. In addition to securing the VoIP network, SBCs also control and terminate through SIP, managing various forms of media types of communication.

Hybrid or on-premises, Sunrise is the only Swiss preferred partner for integrating AudioCodes offerings into unified communications and collaboration solutions – this includes Microsoft Teams, Microsoft 365 and Skype for Business.

The business VoIP space is chock full of competition, with little margin for subpar solutions. The era of digital transformation is at hand, and this software-defined frenzy of innovation is evolving all points of technology in the enterprise. From the contact center and c-suite, to the conference room and data center change is here.
