Olive Communications has signed a five-year multi-million dollar deal with Cygnet Health Care, a provider of round-the-clock mental health care services. Per the deal, Olive will improve and alter Cygnet’s communications system to enhance the customer experience. It will provide and support a fully integrated managed cloud telephony and enterprise mobility solution, which will bring with it complete UC functionality.
Cygnet has a team of 6,200 professionals and employees throughout 108 UK sites with the mission statement to “serve, protect and offer sensitive and effective care to individuals suffering from a variety of mental health problems.” That being said, the business operates 24/7/365, so communications effectiveness is of the utmost importance so no person in need gets left behind. From the newly enhanced offerings, 3,000 users will benefit from the cloud based services, up to 1,000 from the mobile services.
It was vital to Olive that its team worked closely with Cygnet to understand the needs and functionality of the company so that technology and services could be specially tailored. Personalization was key when designing the proper platform and the solution will be built upon Mitel’s cloud-based platform along with Vodafone’s (News - Alert) network capabilities. These two will mesh into Olive’s Cloud Managed Service Platform to deliver telephony, video, mobility and collaboration capabilities. Through this, Cygnet’s staff can have access to telemedicine, vital to both patients and doctors, regardless of locale.
David Ewing, Group IT Director at Cygnet commented, “Our mission statement is to genuinely live and breathe our values, and it was important to us that we chose a partner with a strong cultural fit, that also have clear values in keeping with our own. Reducing cost and implementing a seamless transition were a standard expectation for us, but we wanted to work with a supplier that really understood our business challenges and can evolve technology to create opportunities to serve our staff and customers, with a focus on continual improvement leading to more efficient working practices and an enhanced communications strategy.”
When it comes to health, communications and connectivity is vital; Cygnet and Olive’s collaboration are bringing that notion to the forefront.
