collab9, UCaaS Keeping Borders Safe

Even before Donald Trump was elected President, the border was a big issue – specifically controlling the border. The brave men and women tasked with patrolling and protecting our nation’s border, the United States Customs and Border Protection, will now have access to the power of the cloud with an UCaaS deployment coming its way.

This week, collab9, a FedRAMP authorized UCaaS provider, partnered with the United States Customs to supply the first such deployment in the federal government. This coming a year after collab9 earned FedRAMP authorization.

collab9 CEO, Kevin Schatzle, noted, “We are extremely proud to leverage our unique qualifications in the public sector to deploy what will be the first FedRAMP Authorized, cloud-based contact center platform in the federal sector for the U.S. Customs and Border Protection.

The newly announced partnership is a product of EAGLE II contract, and collab9 partner Presidio is tasked with delivering services, end-to-end – strategy, consulting, design, implementation, etc.

Each deployment is crafted in a unique manner to meet operational requirements.

In any organization, from the mom and pop shop on the corner and the enterprise, to the federal government communications are imperative for productivity. UCaaS will not only enable the capability of exceptional communication, but in doing will keep this fine nation safe.
