MicroCorp Joins Nitel Elite Partner Program
This week, MicroCorp announced it’s now part of the Nitel Elite Partner Program.
“The appointment to the Elite Partner Program comes at a crucial time when partners are needing more resources to and support to expand their opportunities,” commented Phil Keenan, MicroCorp president. “We are pleased to see this investment in channel partners occurring in conjunction with the recent investments in their network – all to prepare our mutual customers for future success.”
Nitel operates an interconnected network platform in North America. That allows it to provide cloud, hybrid networking, internet, managed security, MPLS, SD-WAN, SIP trunking, voice, and other services.
MicroCorp, which was established in 1986, has partnerships with more than 70 cloud and telecommunications providers. And it offers a back office portal called Nautilus, which helps to streamline the selling, provisioning, and support product for MicroCorp partners.
In a Sept. 12 MicroCorp blog, Phil Kennan explained that partnering with a master agent makes selling and supporting cloud and telecom services much simpler. They do that by providing the necessary infrastructure for reliable payments, they do commission research to ensure the commission payment is what it needs to be, they offer an added layer of support, they aggregate sales among multiple agents to meet sales quotas, they can provide custom solutions, and they handle operational considerations like tracking.
“We place great value on the relationships we have with our master agents and distributors, and are pleased to welcome MicroCorp as an inaugural member of our Elite Partner Program,” said Taylor Castranova, vice president, channel sales and account development for Nitel. “We will use this program to build on our mutual success and make it even easier for our channel partners to capture and create new opportunities. With demand for next-generation networking and telecom solutions on the rise, MicroCorp’s focus on network and SD-WAN makes them an ideal go-to-market partner for Nitel.”
