Arkadin Launches New Solution in Latin America
Arkadin, a NTT Communications company, recently announced the launch of its new solution, Arkadin Vision, in Latin America. The solution has already received two major industry awards and is set to completely redefine the digital meeting space.
According to the announcement, Arkadin Vision is a digital meeting space that seamlessly connects audio, Web and video for a unified meeting experience. Given how disjointed meetings can be at the moment as presenters try to get everything in order, this will be a welcome change to operations. The launch of such a solution reflects the overall market demand for new cloud-based services that are simpler to use. When it comes to digital meeting, the more streamlined everything is, the better.
The introduction of Arkadin Vision also reflects some larger trends in the market, such as the mobile workforce. The empowerment of remote workers has been great in that it allows for more flexibility. Workers are no longer required to congregate in the same office, let alone be on the same continent. Yet, meetings haven’t suffered too much because technologies such as video conferencing enable employees to connect and collaborate as if they’re in the same room. According to the company, Arkadin Vision will improve the mobile workforce even further by making virtual collaboration easier than ever.
Roopam Jain, Industry Director of Frost & Sullivan's Conferencing and Collaboration ICT Practice, commented on the need for this solution in the market by saying, "Arkadin demonstrates once again that they are on the cutting edge of where the collaboration market is headed…Arkadin Vision offers a solid mid-market alternative that will be ideal for businesses that require a cost effective solution for core collaboration and video functionality across multiple platforms."
Arkadin Americas President Mark Alexander continued on this same note, commenting that Arkadin Vision will appeal to organizations requiring maximum leverage of UC and video infrastructure investments and greater workforce agility. He stated, "We are responding to customer needs for a simple unified solution that integrates web and video for highly mobile workforces that require more flexibility in how to collaborate. Arkadin Vision is purpose built to meet this need. In addition to workplace productivity and efficiency advantages, the affordable license-based model will deliver tangible bottom line benefits."
