Communications are the heart of business. Before a client signs on the dotted line, the final agreement is built on numerous conversations, email exchanges and possibly a face-to-face meeting or two—leaving one’s unified communications system to provide a medium for the above-stated interactions. Whether it is team members collaborating on a presentation or putting together reports, the ability to share information easily is integral in the business environment.
Arkadin (News - Alert), one of the fastest growing providers of UC and collaboration solutions—and a NTT company—announced a newly minted partnership with ROI Communications, and IT telecommunications solutions provider. Per their arrangement, Arkadin’s portfolio of services will gain ROI services and Arkadin’s channel partner program expands by one.
“ROI Communications brings tremendous strength to our channel program," says Frank Gorkis, Arkadin VP of Channel Sales, North America. “Their depth of experience with Telcos and cloud computing provides a strategic advantage as we expand our UC&C capabilities to meet market demand."
The two companies complement each other quite nicely.
“We look for partners who are top in their category for ensuring we have the highest quality collaboration solutions," says Joe DeStefano, President, ROI Communications. “Arkadin fits this mold perfectly. Their comprehensive range of cloud-based services is complementary to ours, enabling us to offer greater value to customers seeking communications efficiencies."
Gorkis notes a particular example of ROI’s expertise in the case of Woodard & Curran, an engineering, operations and science company in need of a hosted Skype (News - Alert) for Business solution through Office 365. The successful deployment serves as testament to ROI communications field know-how.
While the ink from this partnership may still be wet, this duo is addressing the market demand for exceptional communication and collaboration tools, not to mention quality service if an issue were to arise. And, as the UC&C space edges ever closer to maturation, this type of differentiation can mean the difference between a healthy bottom line or being left out in the cold.
