Blue Jeans Collaborates with Tely Labs for Building Affordable Video Cloud Conferencing Systems

Blue Jeans Network, a provider of interoperable cloud-based video collaboration services, is working with Tely Labs, a provider of affordable of video conferencing systems, in order to design and develop a new video collaboration tool that caters to the requirement of small and medium businesses.
The cloud-based Blue Jeans service blends the features of both business and consumer video conferencing systems and with Tely Labs the company plans to build a mix of on-premise and cloud-based offering that is affordable as well as efficient.
The companies have now integrated the Blue Jeans video collaboration service into the telyHD Pro solution from Tely Labs to offer the new ‘Blue Jeans for Tely’. Featuring standards-based interoperability and integrated Skype (News - Alert) support, telyHD Pro ensures users are able seamlessly connect to others without having to install any additional on-premise equipment.
Blue Jeans for Tely is said to be available to users with zero-configuration simplicity – a feature that not found in any other group video endpoint. The new solution lets up to 25 participants to logon into a Blue Jeans meeting using their video-enabled device, and once in a meeting they have options to share presentations, documents, video files in real-time. Users also have the choice to boost their interoperability by upgrading their endpoint with H.323/SIP systems, telephone access, and advanced features including record and playback, large meetings, and more.
