This softphone client is stated to be customized for the BlackBerry Z10, Z30, Q10 or Q5 models and can deliver exceptional voice quality.
The Bria BlackBerry edition is loaded with advanced security features like secure call signaling and audio encryption and also comprises of enhanced audio types including G.711, G.722, iLBC and GSM audio codecs for crystal clear calls. It also has multi-tasking support for background operation, such as fielding incoming calls while using other application.
The Bria Software as a Service (SaaS (News - Alert)) offering supposedly blends the functionalities of the Bria for CCS suite of softphones for smartphones, tablets and desktops with CounterPath’s Hosted/Cloud-Based Client Configuration Server (CCS). Enterprises, operators and telecommunication channel partners can use the offering to realize a cost effective system for procuring, distributing, provisioning and managing softphone endpoints.
Todd Carothers, executive vice president of marketing and product at CounterPath, asserted, “It is a notable honor to be recognized by TMC for not one, but two of our recent product offerings. The awards are a testament to the continuing efforts by CounterPath to innovate and build client and server solutions that leverage the latest mobile VoIP and fixed-mobile convergence technology. Our SaaS offering in particular has strongly resonated with the channel as it helps customers, enterprises and operators quickly and easily deploy a seamless, simple and integrated communications solution within their organization or directly to their customers.”
