Vocalocity Features on Deloitte's 2013 Technology Fast 500 List

December 17, 2013

Deloitte has named Vocalocity to its Technology Fast 500 list for the third consecutive year.

Vocalocity, a Vonage company, provides hosted VoIP phone systems to small businesses in the U.S. and Canada. The company ranked 188th among the 500 fastest growing technology, media, telecommunications, life sciences and clean technology companies in North America.

Technology Fast 500, conducted by Deloitte LLP, provides a ranking of the fastest growing technology, media, telecommunications, life sciences and clean technology companies – both public and private - in North America.

“Over the past few years, Vocalocity has grown at an astounding rate, and we credit that success to our customers who choose Vocalocity to power their businesses,” said Wain Kellum, former CEO of Vocalocity and now president of Vonage Business Solutions, in a statement.

“We pride ourselves on being partners with the small and mid-sized business community, and this award acknowledges that commitment,” said Kellum.

“Vocalocity has enjoyed tremendous success over the last several years, and we are very excited about the addition of Vocalocity to our company,” said Marc Lefar, chief executive officer of Vonage.

Lefar said that this recognition is a testament to Vocalocity’s position as a strong and reliable partner for small and medium businesses and its ability to meet the communications needs of this rapidly growing market.

He said that together, the mission is to provide the customers with the best possible service and communications solutions available to help them run their businesses more efficiently and effectively.

Earlier in August, Synergy Research Group confirmed that Vocalocity continues to maintain a strong lead in the Unified Communications as a Service (UCaaS) market.

The UCaaS market grew 22 percent year-over-year in Q2 2013 with Vocalocity generating annual revenue growth of 45 percent in the same period. In the same month, Vocalocity announced that it has won INTERNET TELEPHONY’s 2013 Excellence Award.

The INTERNET TELEPHONY Excellence Award is not based on sales or past reputation but on demonstrated innovation and improvements that the winning solutions made to clients’ businesses.
