Cisco Grants PCM Master Unified Communications Specialization
In today's society, organizations rely on different forms of communications technology to stay connected with their customers, employees and business associates. Unified communications or UC brings all these technologies under one umbrella and makes it available in a coordinated fashion so a message delivered using email can be accessed on any of the available platforms. Providing the right UC service for small and large organizations requires expertise across many IT fields and getting recognized by Cisco, one of the largest UC solution providers in the world, means a service company will be able to deliver Cisco UC product and services to its customers.
When a company is recognized as a Master Unified Communications Specialization by Cisco, it means it has the expertise to provide sophisticated, value-added Cisco Unified Communications solutions through in-depth sales capabilities, technology implementation skills and fully managed service offerings. Cisco granted PCM,Inc., a technology solutions provider to small and medium sized businesses, mid-market and enterprise customers, government and educational institutions and individual consumers, the specialization, which is the highest expertise category the company has within its channel partner program.
Achieving this specialization gives PCM access to more customers because it will be in the Cisco Partner Locator platform. Customers will be able to locate the service PCM provides knowing if it is in this platform, it has been thoroughly vetted and it has the capacity to provide any of the services with great competency. Cisco uses a third party audit process to ensure each partner is qualified in technology skills, business best practices, customer satisfaction as well as pre- and post-sales support capabilities.
The Master Unified Communications Specialization was given to PCM after it attained the Advanced Unified Communications Specialization and continued progressing by providing customers with quality service in the UC technology space. Additional requirements for the specialization included master-level sales, technical and services capabilities, possessing a number of Cisco and industry standard technical certification requirements, providing customer references and demonstrating it has the infrastructure to support a full service catalog of offerings.
"Our team worked diligently to achieve this Master Specialization distinction from Cisco. As a result, our clients are able to connect their employees, partners, and customers to collaborate over voice and video with live, rich media content -- anywhere, anytime, and on virtually any device -- using the latest UC technology," said Stephen Moss, President, PCM Services.
In addition to the latest achievement, PCM holds other certifications from Cisco including: Cisco Cloud and Managed Services Advanced Partner Certification, Cisco Specializations in Advanced Data Center Architecture, Advanced Unified Computing Technology, Advanced Borderless Network Architecture, Advanced Collaboration Architecture and Advanced Content Security. PCM also holds Cisco ATP designations in Cisco TelePresence Video Advanced and Identity Services Engine as well as Authorized Digital Media System Partner status.
