NetPlus Becomes The First And Only TMS With JITC Certification
NetPlus becomes the first and the only Telecommunications Management System (TMS) to date to receive the Joint Interoperability Test Command (JITC) Certification across unified communications (UC) and legacy switches featuring on Approved Product List (APL) for the Department of Defense (DoD). NetPlus was tested aggressively for various security features and JITC could not infiltrate any of the security mechanisms of NetPlus resulting in zero findings by JITC.
Following the rigorous testing exercise, JITC certified NetPlus TMS for joint use as a Customer Premise Equipment (CPE) Telecommunications Management System for meeting the stringent needs of Unified Capabilities Requirements (UCR). Furthermore, NetPlus also secured certification for network management via Internet Protocol for use with all versions of Cisco Unified Communication Manager, Avaya S8xxx and Avaya AS5300, which currently do not feature on the APL.
In a release, Matt Lewis, President of NetPlus, said: “Having zero findings with JITC is an incredible feat. Their testing standards are second to none in terms of security and quality assurance. This certification is a huge benefit to our DoD and civilian clients, they can rest assured their data is always secure in NetPlus. As DoD migrates from legacy voice solutions to VoIP and UC solutions, there is one clear choice in the marketplace to help them rapidly migrate and effectively manage their enterprise environment.”
The NetPlus TMS automates the operations and management of communications networks to enhance data accuracy, data accessibility, cost allocation, streamlining communication data flows and end-user services. The system has been designed exclusively for seamless integration with enterprise-level converged communication networks and can be easily deployed to gain a consolidated view across traditional VoIP and telecom networks.
NetPlus, a unit of Ventraq Corporation, offers communications management software for data validation, inventory tracking and control, expense management, fault management and other related services for large enterprises as well as government agencies.
JITC is an agency authorized to conduct professional testing and operational evaluation of IT solutions to certify these solutions for joint interoperability for fostering information dominance and enhancing war fighting capabilities for the county.
