Qumu Corporation's video platform selected by Parsons Corporation

September 30, 2013

Qumu Corporation, a company that provides enterprise video solutions, recently announced that its video platform solution has been selected by construction solutions provider Parsons Corporation, for its corporate video communications using the Qumu Cloud offering.

Qumu claims that its video platform can capture video from any source, automate secure streaming and download, simplify its management, and maintain its complete control —from distribution to consumption. Audiences can view via iOS, Android, Windows tablets and smartphones, and PCs. The solution streamlines the processes and employs powerful technology that encourages communication and collaboration via video.

“We are using the Qumu Cloud solution to enhance our executive and team communications. As an organization with offices all over the world, Parsons seeks solutions that will allow us to communicate consistently, effectively, and in a timely way,” said Erin Kuhlman, vice president of corporate relations.

“Video in the cloud is a solid, secure and scalable way for businesses to implement a visual user experience into every office of their business without overtaxing their budget,” said Vern Hanzlik, Senior vice president and general manager of Qumu. “Parsons took advantage of Qumu’s ability to quickly deploy a simple cloud-based solution for their video-on-demand (VOD), and for future live streaming events. Our secure and flexible cloud offering helps businesses get the most out of their video assets, wherever and however they need it. It’s how business does video.”

Meanwhile, Qumu Corporation recently participated in the 4th Annual Craig-Hallum Alpha Select Conference in New York City. Sherman Black, president and chief executive officer, and Jim Stewart, chief financial officer, presented the company's business strategy and current corporate developments on Thursday, September 26. Qumu offered a live video webcast of its presentation on the investor relations section of its website.
