Fonality Tells Small Businesses to Take a Second Look at Telecommunications Services

August 06, 2013

Fonality, a provider that focuses on giving small and medium-sized businesses access to enterprise-class phone systems, has recently told businesses to think big when it comes to telecommunications resources.

CEO David Scult of Fonality said that it's a myth that a business phone system is beyond reach to smaller enterprises. Many small businesses have the impression that only large businesses can attain feature-rich solutions from legacy providers. “Most of these myths are false,” he added. “Feature-rich communication and contact center solutions have never been more affordable or accessible, and they can help companies of all sizes project a big business image to customers.”

Businesses should turn their eyes towards unified communications (UC). A UC system is sufficiently capable of delivering the kind of communications power a business of any size needs through a centralized interface. It combines multiple forms of communication, such as video, voice, and data, through a single infrastructure so that any in-house computer can run its software.

For small businesses, UC is a boon. It gives them the ability to gain a fighting chance against their bigger competitors, answering to inquiries from their customers in a timely and concise manner. Using this technology, businesses lower their costs significantly and see a boost in productivity.

Scult continues: “Many business owners can't yet see their businesses as contact centers and that's unfortunate. The concept can be applied to any business that requires customer interaction and communication. When contacting a company, customers expect employees – no matter their role or title – to address issues quickly with all relevant information.”

Fonality's own Heads Up Display (HUD) provides small businesses with all the advantages of UC, raising the bar on consumer-end experience and giving the business a transparent bird's-eye-view analytics platform.
