Abletek Announces the Release of Zultys MX 8.0 Unified Communications Software

Abletek, a Texas-based VOIP and managed IT services provider, has announced the release of its Zultys MX 8.0 Unified Communications software for the MX Unified Communications platform.

The new release supposedly follows the Zultys’ all-in-one SIP-based Unified Communication architecture with improvements to MXcluster Redundancy, thereby delivering enhanced disaster recovery and resiliency capabilities. Some of the notable enhancements built into the 8.0 release include enhanced backup and restore, system monitoring tools and usability improvements.

Zultys boasts that its MX platform is packed with advanced features including call controlling, voice mail, unified messaging, a fax server, automatic call distribution, soft phones, call detail reporting, call recording, teleworker support, presence, chat, instant messaging, cell phone twinning, advanced CTI, conferencing, SIP, T1, PRI, analog trunk without requiring gateways, firewall and more. The MX platform is integrated, efficient, fast, and self-contained in one 2U Rack mountable appliance that is ready to configure.

Along with MX Release 8.0, Zultys unveiled MXoutbound, an integrated outbound dialer, integrated SIP Softphone to Zultys’ MXIE UC client for Mac. It can be deployed with virtually any application that requires automated outbound dialing. MXIE is stated to be natively supported on Windows, Mac and Linux operating systems, while Release 8.0 adds an integrated softphone for Apple Mac OS X systems.

Some of the notable features incorporated into the MX Release 8.0 are: support for SFTP and FTPS secure file transfer using SSL/TLS encryption; ability to restore an old backup to a newer firmware version; ability to monitor caller interactions with the automated attendant (AA); Interactive Voice Response (IVR); MXoutbound dialer features in real-time; real-time HTTP protocol level monitoring of external web requests related to the Interactive Voice Response (IVR) and MXoutbound systems; and more.

TMC recently named Zultys MX Release Version 8.0 a 2013 Unified Communications TMC Labs Innovation Award winner, presented by INTERNET TELEPHONY magazine. The product was also awarded the IP Contact Center Technology Pioneer Award from CUSTOMER Magazine for 2013.
