Vertical Expands Unified Communications Footprint Across U.S Through Deal with Fulton Communications

Vertical Communications (News - Alert), a provider of unified communications (UC) and IP telephony solutions, has just signed a distribution agreement with Norcross, Georgia-based Fulton Communications, a national distributor of enterprise communications and security technologies for businesses.

Under this agreement, Fulton will offer the entire range of Vertical’s Voice over IP (VoIP), unified communications and enterprise mobility products and applications to customers throughout the country.

Vertical's solutions are the perfect addition to Fulton's portfolio. The Wave IP platform, the ViewPoint Mobile enterprise mobility application, and Vertical's unified communications and contact center features have gained huge popularity among a large number of customers. Vertical solutions are distributed through a network of more than 3,000 authorized dealers throughout North America and in Europe.

The agreement with Fulton will also help Vertical Communications to grow its operations. The company’s reach, coupled with the experienced sales staff, will support the efforts of Vertical Communications in the market. The partnership will also help serve the strategic and financial needs of both organizations.

The company operates a network of offices located in 15 cities across the United States, including Atlanta; Orlando; Tampa; Washington, D.C.; Cincinnati; Columbus; Nashville; Memphis; Houston; Dallas; St. Louis; Springfield, MO; Denver; Tucson and Phoenix.  

In a recent research on global unified communications market, Frost & Sullivan (News - Alert) said China currently holds the third-highest grossing UC market, with $116.8 million in revenue in 2010, which is steadily growing, projected to reach $255 million by 2017.
