AGT Appoints Industry Veteran to Head Enterprise Sales

Applied Global Technologies (AGT), which is reputed for its award-winning UC products and ability to increase the quality and performance of video conferencing between room systems and across IP networks, added yet another senior industry veteran to its management team.

The appointment of Mike Brewington as Executive Vice President of Enterprise Sales is expected to   boost AGT’s enterprise sales of UC Technologies, Managed Video, and Cloud based services. In this role, he will interact and work directly with enterprise clients and help them forge ahead with UC solutions that will be relevant to the future of video communications.

In addition, Brewington will be responsible for all commercial and state government sales not only for AGT’s Mobile Video & UC Technologies but also for its managed video and cloud services.

Holding several long tenured positions in both public and private organizations and delivering software and SaaS solutions to financial solutions, Brewington is expected to be a great value add for AGT. He carries forward valuable sales experience from his stint at Oracle, where he ran the sales organization for the company's Cloud Services Business Unit.

Mike Valletutti, CEO, Applied Global Technologies, acknowledging Brewington's invaluable contributions in the UC space, said in a statement, “Mike has always worked closely with senior IT management and line of business leaders to provide cost effective, scalable solutions that deliver results for their organizations. I’m excited that we can bring a guy like Mike onto our team.”

The addition of Brewington is a step forward for AGT in its race to forge ahead in the UC Technologies and Managed Video and Cloud Services space.

In a related news release, AGT announced the release of its new website that includes mobile video conferencing and Unified Communications research vital to Video and UC Managers, IT Directors and Department Heads. AGT has developed a variety of innovative UC technologies and Managed and Cloud based video conferencing services that will enable business, government, and educational enterprises to prepare for tomorrows video communications.
