ANDTEK Software Helps Transparent Integration of Communication Protocols
Effective communication requires the appropriate tool at the right time and WEKA-Verlagsgruppe, a publishing group based in Kissing, Germany, stated that the combination of software products from ANDTEK has helped it to communicate faster, save time and money and achieve higher network efficiency.
With the introduction of ANDTEK software, complicated key combinations and unwieldy consoles have become things of the past.
WEKA-Verlagsgruppe now uses a combination of software products from ANDTEK and uses the attendant console software "AND Desktop AC" and “AND Desktop CTI”. The manager and assistant services are used extensively to support the business.
ANDTEK claims that multiple operating systems and communication protocols are integrated transparently and offer a unique user experience. Such an approach enables AND Desktop to be deployed throughout the corporate network while still retaining centralized management and controlling capabilities.
Christian Fendt, Network Administrator for WEKA Service GmbH stated that the company was able to process calls faster and more efficiently, improve customer satisfaction, increase profits and have a real-time overview of the status of all the lines.
According to the company, with the AND software in place, attendants can see all contacts within the corporate directory instantly on their monitors and directly forward calls to the appropriate person. They can also display a complete call history to see which calls have been answered or missed.
In addition, managing the most complex environment was simplified as the ANDTEK software as its queuing capability ensured that unanswered calls were returned to the attendant for resolution.
Fendt spoke of the overall benefits of the AND software and said, “Using ANDTEK’s IP communications solutions makes everyday work easier and more efficient.”
In another news story, ANDTEK GmbH was nominated "Preferred Solutions Partner". Only 5 companies in Europe hold this exclusive Cisco partnership, worldwide there are only about 20 companies.
