IceWarp Shows Explosive Q2 Growth in North America

August 22, 2011

Despite four years of negative economic news, IceWarp has registered strong growth better than expected.

According to a press release, the company has showed explosive growth in the North American market, landing 36 percent more enterprise accounts in the second quarter of 2011 than in the year’s first quarter.

IceWarp, a provider of unified communications and collaboration solutions announced today that in Q2 eighty six new organizations representing several different verticals deployed IceWarp Unified Communications Server.

“Sales have surged dramatically in North America, despite perceived economic uncertainties,” said John Cooper, Director of North America Sales. “Not only are sales growing, but our pipeline of perspective customers has never been larger or more diverse. Every shape and size of companies are looking for cost-effective unified communications capabilities in one easy-to-deploy product to handle their messaging, voice, collaboration, conferencing, and support all mobile devices, and tablets currently on the market. IceWarp responds to this demand, and the market enthusiastically embraces our value proposition.”

“IceWarp’s global footprint makes it a recession-proof company,” says Ladislav Goc, President of IceWarp. “When North America was hit by the recent crisis, sales in Africa, Asia and Europe kept us going. Now that Europe is slowing down somewhat, the United States is recovering, and Asia is thriving. We will keep expanding our global network of partners and establishing direct presence in the most promising markets to continue this winning streak.”

IceWarp kept its worldwide sales momentum with visible growth in several regions. Africa is a stand-out example, where Q2 sales went up by 25 percent.

Hyoun Park, Research Analyst, Aberdeen Group said, “Aberdeen's research shows an increasing need for companies, regardless of geography, to improve both the unification of communications and integration of communications with key applications to improve sales and services capabilities and to create a communications environment that can support the accelerating pace of business evolution."

In other company news, unified communications reported that Stratos Global Corporation has forged an alliance with IceWarp.
