Intermedia Offers Microsoft Office 365

To provide cloud services to small and mid-sized businesses, Intermedia, a company in cloud services and the largest Microsoft (News - Alert) Exchange hosting provider, have signed an agreement with Microsoft to offer solutions that include Microsoft Office 365.  Intermedia (News - Alert) is a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner. It is among a few organizations offering Office 365 to market.

According to a press release, businesses will set up and manage Office 365 from Intermedia's HostPilot Control Panel - an intuitive control panel that enables administration to be delegated to non-technical staff.

Microsoft Office 365 includes popular Microsoft productivity tools -- such as Exchange Online, SharePoint Online and Lync Online -- with the Microsoft Office suite on the web and on the desktop.

 All Intermedia services are managed through HostPilot, making it simple for Office 365 customers to add other Intermedia cloud services such as online backup, Outlook backup, hosted PBX (News - Alert), mobility, security and more.   Intermedia's integrated approach gives businesses access to best-of-breed cloud services, but spares them from having to use multiple control panels or pay multiple bills.

 In other company news, TMCnet reported that Intermediahas launched as the newest addition to the TMCnet global online community program.
