Nimsoft Launches SaaS Based Unified Solution to Address Changing Needs of Today's Fast Paced IT

A global provider of integrated enterprise-class IT solutions, Nimsoft recently introduced a new multi-tenant IT Management As-A-Service solution called Nimsoft Unified Manager. In a press release, the company explained that the new SaaS solution integrates infrastructure monitoring and ready-to-use ITIL-based service management capabilities in a single package.

Based on the Nimsoft Monitoring Solution or Nimsoft Monitor and the customer-proven Nimsoft Service Desk technology, the Nimsoft Unified Manager has been designed for service providers and IT organizations. Offered either on-demand (SaaS) or on-premise, the solution will enable Nimsoft client to deliver IT services more efficiently to business users across internal and external IT infrastructures, in the public as well as private cloud environments, the company claimed in the press release.

IT operations are fast moving on the cloud and companies considerably depend on the high speed collaboration. Under this backdrop, the businesses are seeking solutions that integrate management and monitoring capabilities. According to Nimsoft, its Unified Manager integrates monitoring and service management functionalities in an intuitive and logical manner to perfectly address today’s IT needs. The integration of monitoring capabilities will help businesses locate problems and potential problems and quickly and accurately address them to minimize their impact to the business. This, as a whole is expected to significantly improve the productivity of IT operations at the companies.

“Business moves too fast for companies to get bogged down in costly implementations of complex IT management applications that can't respond to constant changes in modern IT infrastructure and services. With Nimsoft Unified Manager, our customers can maintain the deep visibility they need into the computing environments that form the central nervous system of today's modern IT organizations and deliver critical highly available services at low costs whether in the data center or the cloud,” Nimsoft CEO Gary Read explained in a statement.

In December 2010, Nimsoft announced the selection of Nimsoft Monitoring System (NMS) by SunGard as the underlying platform for its new cloud services offering. NMS delivers the visibility needed to monitor and manage performance across various environments, the company said in a previous press release.
