Media5s' Mediatrix 4400 Gateways Now Integrated With Cisco UC320 Series

The Mediatrix 4400 Series VoIP Gateways, developed by Media5 Corporation, has received interoperability certification with that of Cisco Unified Communications 320 (UC320) Series. Small businesses who make use of the UC320 series for network and communication management can now take advantage of the interoperability feature to replace PSTN connectivity via BRI ISDN lines with that of Mediatrix 4400 VoIP gateways.

As part of Cisco’s Small Business Communications System, the Cisco Unified Communications 320 Series platform enables the user to replace their PBX or key system with a single, all-in-one network solution. The integrated UC320 solution with the inclusion of Mediatrix 4400 BRI gateways delivers the highest levels of connectivity and performance.

In a release, Philippe Babin, general manager of Media5 Corporation said, “Small companies realize that effective communications with customers, partners and employees are a key to helping them grow their business. We are pleased that the Mediatrix 4400 Gateways have been certified as an integral component of Cisco Unified Communications 320 Series Solution. Media5 introduced Media5-Boss and Media5-Fone solution to complement their VoIP Gateway Products. While Media5–Boss product was designed for security & survivability in multi-site environments, the Media5-Fone includes a suite of SIP-based mobile VoIP and Unified Communications soft client applications whereby users can use their Smartphone to make VoIP calls with any available WLAN and Packet Data (3G, 4G) networks.

In other news, TMC  has announced Media5’s mobile softphone application Media5-fone as the winner of the 2010 INTERNET TELEPHONY Product of the Year Award.
