Unified Communications Solutions Provider Cypress Wins 2010 INTERNET TELEPHONY Product of the Year Award

March 18, 2011

Technology Marketing Corporation has announced that Cypress Communications, a provider of hosted unified communications solutions to businesses, has won a 2010 INTERNET TELEPHONY Product of the Year Award for its C4 IP solution.

C4 IP is a full-featured, business class “end-to-end” unified communications solution which is fast, easy and affordable to deploy. A fully cloud-based solution, it is ideal for meeting the connectivity, communication, collaboration and continuity requirements of today’s enterprises, and is especially ideal for organizations with distributed facilities.

With C4 IP, enterprises gain a scalable and extensible infrastructure, ready to accommodate future business growth and evolving communications technologies. With presence and a host of other UC features, the solution helps organizations boost employee productivity and reduce communications costs.

Since C4 IP is delivered as a cloud-based solution, smaller companies can take advantage of the same enterprise-grade applications and technologies as larger companies. Cypress provides all the equipment and manages the solution from the network to the phone on each desk, so there’s no capital expense, no worries of technological obsolescence and no need for SMEs to hire or train additional IT staff to manage the solution.

“This award reaches beyond features and functionality and gets to the heart of why we pursue excellence: for the success of our customers,” said Frank Grillo, executive vice president of implementation and product marketing at Cypress Communications. “Small and mid-sized businesses and Enterprises are increasingly looking for cloud solutions, like C4 IP, that can help them accomplish more with less.”

“C4 IP is the silver lining that enables businesses to benefit from better communications while reaping the financial and technological rewards that cloud computing offers,” Grillo added. “This award signifies that we have succeeded in creating a unique and innovative solution that generates real results for our customers, and that is truly rewarding.”

Cypress Communications recently merged with IP communications solutions provider Broadvox. With seamless integration of Cypress’ C4 IP UC solution and Broadvox’s GO! SIP Trunking service, organizations can significantly improve their operations and reduce overall communications costs.

Recently Cypress Communications announced that its hosted unified communications solution was selected by the International Legal Technology Association (ILTA), a peer networking organization for the legal profession.
