FAXAGE Announces Availability of Local Fax Number Coverage in Seven Additional States

February 14, 2011

FAXAGE, one of the leaders in internet fax services, recently announced the availability of local fax numbers in seven additional states. With this latest addition, FAXAGE now offers local Internet Fax numbers in 31 states along with toll-free fax numbers covering all 50 states and all of Canada. The seven states where local fax number availability has been added are Connecticut, Idaho, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, South Carolina and Wisconsin.

FAXAGE currently offers both incoming and outgoing Internet Fax services. Faxes can be sent to a subscriber’s local or toll-free internet fax number which will then get translated into PDF files and emailed to the subscriber. Electronic documents such as Word, Excel, PDF, TIFF, JPEG, and other common file formats can also be emailed by clients. They will then get faxed out to any traditional fax machine in the United States or Canada. FAXAGE is able to offer these services for far less than the cost of a fax machine and phone line.

In a release, Christian Watts of EC Data Systems, the owner and operator of the FAXAGE service said that, "We're very pleased to roll out our local number presence to an increasing number of markets. The ability to obtain local fax numbers is a key factor for our business clients in selecting a provider. Local presence makes a difference as businesses transition from traditional fax solutions to internet fax systems, such as FAXAGE."

FAXAGE is EC Data Systems' flagship platform and has been providing internet fax services since 2004. EC Data Systems was founded in 2002 and is located in Denver, CO. The company is an Application Service Provider and focuses on providing value-added services to clients in the small and medium business (SMB) segment through its in-house designed and operated application portfolio.
