InfoVista Demonstrates New Unified Communications Assurance Solution at Cisco Live

January 31, 2011

Nowadays, more businesses are realizing the importance of unified communications and collaboration solutions and are deploying them. They also understand the importance of maintaining the quality of service for these business critical applications.

InfoVista, a dealer in service performance assurance, will showcase its new Unified Communications Assurance solution from January 31 to February 3.

InfoVista’s approach to service performance management in the unified communications and collaboration (UC&C) environment enables providers of managed, hosted and cloud-based UC&C services to maintain UC&C quality and keep complex network applications. The company’s unified platform for network performance management, application performance management and SLA management empowers service providers and enterprise IT organizations to holistically and cost-effectively monitor and ensure availability and quality of service on the infrastructure, services and applications they deliver.

The new Unified Communications Assurance will be showcased in London from January 31-February 3.

Though many companies want to take advantage of the productivity and cost-saving benefits of unifying their voice, messaging and collaboration applications, they also want to avoid the expenses associated with deploying and supporting Unified Communications and Collaboration (UC&C) services. Acquiring these services from cloud or managed service providers has its own set of issues and equally cumbersome is the process of ensuring the highest quality services that satisfy end users.

InfoVista offers a solution for unified communications service assurance that addresses these challenges. It offers the vital information that is needed to ensure that providers are delivering the best user experience and are able to effectively manage the performance of UC&C services delivered within the cloud or by customer premise equipment.

InfoVista’s UC&C solution offers carrier-class, unified and cross-silo performance management for the expanding multi-tenant UC&C services environment delivered by Cisco HCS.

“End-users expect access to communications and collaboration the moment they need it, regardless of where they are or what devices they are using,” said Vikas Trehan, senior vice president, Network Performance Management Business Line at InfoVista. “This makes the delivery of high-quality UC&C services critical. The support this solution brings to hosted and cloud-based UC&C services assures that services providers can be confident in their ability to continuously deliver a quality user experience.”
