Consolium appoints Krishnan KS as Vice President, Sales Operations

According to a recent press release, Consilium Software (“Consilium”), a unified communications solutions company, has appointed Krishnan KS as vice president of sales operations to drive the sales function, expand its customer base and entrench Consilium’s presence in target markets.

The company has also appointed many other appointments as part of an updated strategic plan to advance its position in the unified communications market. The company claims it is known for its solution approach, applications focus and proven track record globally.

An experience holder of more than 17 years in the it industry, Krishnan was the national head of commercial accounts at Servion Global Solutions, India, before joining Consilium. Mr. Krishnan has also held various senior level positions in sales, business development and professional services at Redington, HCL Infosystems, Acqueon Technologies and Dell.

To accelerate on its growth in the united communications market, Consilium has also made some organizational changes in the management team.

Industry veteran Arvind Saksena takes the position of senior vice president with responsibility for the technical support and services functions. The position of vice president of global services is awarded to Aman Basra. He will be responsible for leading Consilium’s professional services. Harish Ruparel, who joined Consilium in November as director of unified communications practice, will spearhead solution delivery.“We are experiencing strong growth in all our major markets and excited about the exceptional leadership team we have on board,” said Pramod Ratwani, president and executive chairman, Consilium Software, in a statement. “We will continue building on the company's global success in delivering excellent customer service and exceeding customer expectations through the unique and strong combination of our alliance products, the innovative Consilium Uni suite, and industry-acclaimed Consilium UniCare Customer Lifecycle Services.”

Consilium Software considers organization restructuring as another step towards its mission which is to be a leading mid-tier UC player by offering a platform consisting of software, services and third-party products which helps customers reduce the cost and complexity of acquiring and enabling Unified Communications.
