PanTerra Networks, McGraw Partner to Offer Cloud-Based UC Services to Enterprises

December 23, 2010

Cloud-based UC solutions provider PanTerra Networks announced on Thursday that it has signed an agreement with McGraw Communications to help the competitive local exchange carrier enter the thriving unified communications market.

Through the collaboration, McGraw will enable its channel partners to market and sell a private branded version of WorldSmart, PanTerra's all-in-one cloud-based unified communications service.

PanTerra's WorldSmart solution is specially designed to provide small- and mid-sized enterprises with comprehensive unified communications services. The product delivers voice, collaboration, messaging and call center services all through a single, intuitive application. Services that are available through WorldSmart include e-mail, unified messaging, unlimited business voice, fax, instant messaging, file transfer, mobile text messaging and presence.

The solution also enables users to collaborate with each other through innovative group communication mediums such as web conferencing, desk sharing, remote desktop access, IM conferencing and audio conferencing. What truly sets WorldSmart apart from other solutions, however, is that these services are all stored and delivered through the cloud. This means that users can access UC services from anyplace that has a wired or wireless connection.

"Through our interactions with McGraw over the past couple of months, we have been impressed with their relentless focus of providing quality solutions that enable their clients to be more competitive and responsive," Anthony Gioeli, PanTerra's executive vice president of Sales and Marketing, said in a statement

"WorldSmart enables McGraw to offer all the benefits of cloud-based unified communications with the reliability and innovative feature set expected from their customers," he added. "We are excited to open this new channel with McGraw for the delivery of PanTerra services."

The partnership with PanTerra should allow McGraw to enhance its portfolio of voice, data and Internet services by meeting the growing need for UC solutions.
