Iconosys Releases Mighty SMS, Schedule Reminder for Personal and Professional Use

By Shamila Janakiraman, TMCnet Contributor

IIconosys, Inc. announced the release of Mighty SMS, a new test message scheduling system that helps professionals to setup reminders for clients and patients. It enables them to send their clients and customers courtesy messages in the form of notices or reminders before their scheduled meetings and also send thank you notes after the service has been delivered.

This system is expected to integrate the various means of communication and text messaging that professionals in the fields of real estate, medical offices, dental offices and other appointment setters use expensively.

Iconosys launched this as a research and development project initially to explore possibilities and also enhance the company’s SMS Replier and DriveReply ‘testing while driving apps’ offered by the company.

Mighty SMS is available in a personal version, where all features are managed on the phone itself or in a professional version with more functionality. Also the app can be administered through an Internet interface, and scheduling can be done in real time even in front of the patient, or while on the phone with a sales lead. The Web interface/management is cost effective according to company sources.

The company is planning to integrate this app into Google (News - Alert) Calendar and Outlook very soon to serve as a plug-in for ease of management by office staff and appointment setters. Iconosys officials said that the Mighty SMS is fully functional now and ready to cater to the needs of the busy professional or house-spouse.

In the personal user edition pre-program text message salutations can be sent to loved ones, friends or professional contacts. This enables users to organize their calendars and contacts and not miss out on important occasions.

The professional edition allows customized replies that can be generated to remind clients and patients about appointments to keep, besides providing information about contacting the user in case of any changes.

Wayne Irving, CEO of Iconosys, Inc. said in a release, “Already a favorite among dentists here in Orange County, CA (News - Alert), the dentists are seeing a lower volume of cancellations and ‘forgetting’s,’ as patients that made appointments sometimes months earlier, and may have completely forgotten their appointment, get a friendly non-threatening personal message from their favorite service provider such like dentist, doctor, optometrist, hairstylist, chiropractor, contractor, MONAVIE rep.”

“It’s great for car salesmen or others in sales that want to pre-program a thank you message for a couple days later after the sale, to send good wishes and work for that return customer and high rating of customer satisfaction,” Irving added.

Text messaging enables sharing of short personal bits of data between people like parents and children or between partners in a company. It allows the exchange of addresses and other short bits of information that do not require a full conversation but which will be seen at once.
