ServiceMax Demos Product Chatter

Enabling products to communicate malfunctions as they happen, ServiceMax has announced that the company will be showcasing Product Chatter, its cloud-based solution for real-time product intelligence and field service collaboration, at an upcoming event.

 
With the help of Product Chatter, companies can better manage customer needs through increased visibility. It captures live, up-to-date information from remote connected products and adds intelligence and collaboration to business processes as it is built with Axeda ServiceLink technology on the Salesforce.com (News - Alert) ChatterExchange platform. It also allows companies to better anticipate customers' repair and maintenance needs.
 
Chatterfrom ServiceMax introduces a new world of real-time enterprise collaboration. A world where enterprise apps are as easy to use as Facebook (News - Alert). Chatter Apps include profiles, status updates, and real-time feeds, which make it easy to stay on top.

Recently, the company launched a new app on salesforce.com's ChatterExchange, helping to accelerate the market shift to Cloud 2, the next cloud computing paradigm. ServiceMax Suite and ServiceMax Volume are among the first apps to leverage the social components of Chatter now available in the Force.com platform. These new apps can all be found on the ChatterExchange, a brand new category for social enterprise apps.
