Cisco Deploys the First Unified Computing System in YTL Communications, Malaysia

YTL Communications is one of the major public listed infrastructure conglomerates in Malaysia. It claims to be the first company in Malaysia to utilize the Cisco (News - Alert) Unified Computing System's virtualization capabilities.

 
Cisco Unified Computing System played a major contribution in helping to spread out YTL Communications' 4G-enabled mobile Internet throughout the nation. This is possible by combining computational, storage and network resources in a single energy-efficient system for producing a virtualized data center computing platform. This platform is optimized for deploying high-performance application.
 
This Cisco Unified Computing System helps to lessen the complexity and expense incurred in information technology infrastructure, increase capital assets, and enhance business agility in future. Core Internetworking technologies and services are also offered to support YTL Communication's 4G roll-out.
 
Some facts regarding the deployment of Cisco Unified Computing System are as follows:
