Airwide Solutions, a provider of next-generation mobile messaging and wireless Internet infrastructure, has reportedly signed a non-exclusive global distribution agreement with Finland-based Tecnotree, a provider of value added services for telecom operators, in order to address the increasing demand for reliable and secure mobile services in Western Europe and emerging markets like Africa and Latin America.

As per the terms of the agreement, the companies will provide mobile operators across the globe with a comprehensive portfolio of next generation messaging infrastructure, BSS/OSS (business and operations support systems), as well as value-added services (VAS) solutions.

According to officials with Airwide, the companies’ comprehensive portfolios will not only facilitate them to optimize their service delivery infrastructure, but will also enable to create an efficient service creation environment for launching profitable services in the shortest time-to-market.

In addition, this combined portfolio that is of more interest to mobile operators in developed markets like Western Europe will also allow them to monetize their network investments by enhancing 3rd party services and applications, and help in driving new revenue from existing assets.

Consequently, the comprehensive nature of both the companies’ combined solutions will bring high value to operators in all parts of the world by allowing them to develop services that are segmented, interactive and profitable.

Officials with Airwide said that the company offers an open, tiered Fusion architecture that provides mobile operators with - advanced revenue options; a practical pathway to Mobile Messaging 2.0; and a foundation to bridge mobile messaging and the mobile Internet.
