Natural convergence’s, silhouette provides hosted services which help service providers to increase ARPU from the SMB at the same time reducing both operational and capital expenses. There has been a growth in demand for silhouette in the European Union and also throughout the world. Terry Meredith, VP Sales for EMEA emphasized that silhouette was the best solution as a hosted service at the present down turn in the economy. Natural Convergence (News - Alert) shows Service Providers a way to increase their profits with hosted VoIP in the small and medium sized business space where there are innumerable opportunities.
Voice equipment used in organizations such as key systems and small PBX’s (News - Alert) can be replaced by silhouette effectively as it is a carrier grade, hosted software solution. The solution has been especially designed for service providers who employee five to 50 people forming a small business market. Silhouette’s simple features and functionality makes it easy to sell, deploy, operate and maintain.
Generally hosted VoIP solutions for small businesses are scaled down versions of solutions developed for large organizations. These may not be suitable for small business owners. However, Silhouette is simple having single button access with zero touch deployments requiring no pre-configuration of phones. A simple Web-based portal enables direct control over the voice services.
Silhouette makes use of the existing metro access networks of service providers delivering voice services via any broadband connection like xDSL, T1 or fiber. The silhouette is a hosted multi-tenant application compatible with existing TDM networks. It includes network services like auto-attendant, extension dialing, directory services, centralized management and messaging.
Ottawa-based Natural convergence specializes in hosted VoIP applications which help service providers provide better services to the small business market. The company’s silhouette application is suitable for use in place of traditional premise based voice solutions.
