Google Apps Marketplace Now Includes Jive Social Business Software

The availability of cloud-based, lightweight version of its leading Jive social business software in the Google (News - Alert) Apps Marketplace was announced by Jive Software. With this announcement, Jive will join a select group of software vendors and developers who support open standards. This group also believes the way of doing business is transformed with cloud-based, lightweight innovative applications.

An enterprise-class social business software application built entirely for the cloud, the trial version “Try Jive” can be activated by more than two million Google Apps business users free of cost. Users can immediately improve collaboration across departments, business units and time zones for faster decision-making by launching Jive Social Business Software directly from Google Apps.
In a release, Christopher Morace who is the senior vice president of products, Jive said, "We are excited to integrate with Google Apps to deliver social business in the cloud. Executives have realized that the traditional way of purchasing, deploying and managing software has to change."
Customers can access Jive at the Google Apps Marketplace, Google's online storefront for Google Apps, products and services by providing only their Google Apps username and password.
