ClearOne Announces ChatATTACH

ClearOne (News - Alert), an international communications solutions company recently announced new members of its award winning CHAT speaker phone product line and the CHATAttach family that are able to daisy-chain and support bigger conference venues.

 
The new CHATAttach 150, 160, and 170 provide the facility to make PC based conference calls via USB connectivity. These are used in applications including Skype, Microsoft (News - Alert) Office Communicator and Cisco IP Communicator. The CHATAttach conferencing system has two group USB speaker phones, an attach cable, and a power supply. The system helps to distribute microphones and loudspeakers evenly along with distributed control which helps to easily access mute and volume controls from both speaker phone. Irrespective of where the participants sit, they can easily enjoy natural conversations very clearly.
 
In a release, Gary Hansen, senior manager of product management - telephony products said that "Since the launch of the CHAT family we have had increasing requests from customers to use these solutions in larger rooms. The new CHATAttach product family will give users the capabilities they have been asking for.”
 
CHATAttach 150 is the foremost new member of the CHATAttach family. It is mainly intended for PC conferencing and collaboration applications such as soft phones, web conferencing and software video conferencing. CHATAttach 160 is the subsequent new member which is particularly optimized for Skype (News - Alert) users. CHATAttach 170 is the last new member of the product family. It is optimized for Microsoft Office Communicator applications.
 
The shipments of CHATAttach 150, 160, and 170 are expected to start on August 2010, Q3 2010, and early Q4 2010 respectively.
 
CHATAttach family members feature HDConference audio technologies such as full duplex, distributed echo cancellation, noise reduction, first mic priority, automatic gain and level controls and adaptive modeling.
