DGA Security Systems Announces Availability of New System Alerts Service

By Jayashree Adkoli, TMCnet Contributor

New York City-based DGA Security Systems, a provider of security systems, has announced availability of “DGA Security System Alerts,” which delivers real-time business intelligence to customers via e-mail notification platform.

According to a press release, DGA Security Systems’ latest offering is a service tailored to deliver important business information alerts directly to customers’ e-mail inboxes. These notifications are formatted, so that they are compatible and easily readable on any smartphone, such as iPhone (News - Alert), Blackberry, and Android.

DGA Security System Alerts generally include instant alarm notifications and weekly reports. The immediate notifications and weekly summaries indicates when an alarm is armed or disarmed, or when sensitive security zones are accessed and by which employee.

Apart from instant alarm notifications, the system can as well provide much-needed insight into business operations. For example, comparing store sales to open/close times at each location. This will help in revealing a weak store manager or show that low-performing stores have a tendency to open late and close early.

In addition, System Alerts can also facilitate client companies to protect many aspects of their business beyond security. This is due to the fact that DGA can automatically notify a customer when the temperature or humidity in its server room approaches a critical level. This facilitates customers to take action before equipment starts to overheat.

“To our customers, DGA is not just a security company. We’re their business partner,” said Stanley Oppenheim, founder and president of DGA. “We’re committed to helping them use their security systems to better understand their operations and become more profitable.”

Apart from security systems, DGA also offers fire systems, access management, and video surveillance. The company’s each security system is custom-designed by an on-staff security consultant, in order to provide high level of protection while meeting all specified standards. The company also offers Web tools to review and manage important functions online.

DGA possesses a monitoring center, which is located in midtown Manhattan and is the largest monitoring facility in New York City, say officials with DGA.

In February, DGA Security Systems was UL 2050 certified, thereby enabling it to install, service and monitor security systems for federal facilities such as the U.S. Department of Defense. This certification verifies that the company has met the stringent requirements - for the protection of classified materials.
