Broadvox and Cypress Communications Complete Merger

According to a recent press release, leading VoIP and unified communications (UC) service providers Broadvox and Cypress Communications have completed their merger. The merged company will be identified as Broadvox (News - Alert), while retaining Cypress as a distinguished brand of the Broadvox service offerings. 

Through the merger, both the companies would like to provide customers with high-quality, innovative and cost-effective communication services with unsurpassed customer service. 
'The merger between Broadvox and Cypress combines complementary product portfolios well-suited to compete in today's emerging Unified Communications (News - Alert) marketplace,' stated Brent Kelly, senior analyst and partner at Wainhouse Research, in a press release. 'The combined company offers a broader range of services that spans carriers, premises-based solutions, and hosted UC for SMB and enterprise customers.'
'We are excited about bringing Broadvox and Cypress together to deliver hosted Unified Communications and SIP Trunking to SMBs and Enterprise customers,' stated Andre Temnorod, Chairman and CEO at Broadvox, in a press release. 'Broadvox now boasts one of the nation's largest VoIP networks, providing 24/7 support and service to more than 10,000 business customers and hundreds of thousands of users.'
Andre Temnorod, co-founder of Broadvox, will remain chairman and CEO; Eugene Blumin, co-founder of Broadvox, will remain COO. The professionals who join Broadvox management team are Scott Drake, CFO, and Frank Grillo (News - Alert), executive vice president of product mMarketing and implementation services. The company will maintain its headquarters in Dallas with operations in Atlanta and Cleveland, and will have approximately 250 employees and revenues in excess of $100 million.
Broadvox provides integrated managed VoIP services and hosted unified communications to SMBs, enterprise, and carrier customers.
