Dialogic (News - Alert) Corporation has rolled out an enhanced High Availability Media Gateway Service Program at the Microsoft (News - Alert) Unified Communications Launch 2007 in San Francisco.

A global leader in providing products and technologies for media processing, the company’s new program allows its service partners to bring their own support strengths to Dialogic's service and training offerings.

"Because we have high confidence that Microsoft unified communications software will streamline communications for end users and increase operational efficiency, Dialogic is making a significant investment to meet the total needs of the system integration channel in support of the Microsoft Unified Communications Launch 2007,” said Nick Jensen (News - Alert), president and CEO of Dialogic.

Jensen said service partners can now add highly customized levels of onsite support and can help accelerate replacement service for Dialogic Media Gateways.

The gateways have been tested by Dialogic for interoperability with Microsoft unified communications technologies: Microsoft Office Communications Server 2007 and Microsoft Exchange Server 2007.

"We begin by delivering tested and qualified media gateways, and then follow up with a firm commitment to training, service and support programs for the Microsoft channel to ensure that Dialogic Media Gateways are a trusted and valued element in deployments of Microsoft Office Communications Server 2007 and Microsoft Exchange Server 2007 worldwide,” said Jensen.

Microsoft. and Dialogic are providing customers and systems integrators with a well-integrated unified communications solution. Now, Dialogic is playing a bigger role in the development of PBX to VoIP media gateways that bring added value to enterprise communications software, according to Eric Swift, senior director, Unified Communications (News - Alert) Group, at Microsoft.

"Dialogic believes in Microsoft's vision for unified communications, and enabling people to find and collaborate with colleagues right from the applications they already know and use,” said Swift.

Dialogic Media Gateways are qualified for Office Communications Server 2007 and the unified messaging functionality of Exchange Server 2007.
