LifeSize Communications, a division of Logitech (News - Alert) and a provider of high definition video communications and telepresence solutions, announced it is offering a private label finance offering for its customers in the U.S. and Canada through a partnership with independent financial solutions provider TAMCO.
HD video conferencing is a viable option to reduce expenses and improve communication and productivity amidst economic turbulence. LifeSize (News - Alert) HD video communications enable face-to-face communications at a distance as naturally as being in the same room, with a high quality of experience over lower bandwidths, the company said.
The new program, dubbed as LifeSize Flexible Leasing, offers financing options for customers of its high definition or “HD” video conferencing solutions: Smart Lease and a traditional capital lease.
Under the Smart Lease program, customers pay a monthly fee for use of the video conferencing solution. Additionally they are given the flexibility to move to a new LifeSize video conferencing solution without financial penalty anytime during their contract term.
The more traditional capital lease, which is known as a $1 Buyout Lease in the U.S. and a $10 Buyout in Canada, allows customers to purchase their equipment at the end of the lease term for one dollar (or $10 in Canada), company officials said.
According to Joe Vitalone, LifeSize vice president of sales for Americas, the leasing program offers unique acquisition options to LifeSize customers who are eager to experience the benefits of our HD video conferencing technologies today and take advantage of their continual product innovation, without worrying about a large capital outlay.
“TAMCO offers exceptional financial service options and are an ideal partner to provide these services to our clients,” Vitalone added.
LifeSize video conferencing solution ultimately reduces the total cost of ownership, company officials said. From the home or work PC to the conference room to the telepresence suite, LifeSize solutions are deployed in more than 10,000 organizations in 80 countries around the world.
