UC Week in Review
It was another busy week in the Unified Communications (UC) sector this past week.
CoroWare Technologies, a subsidiary of CoroWare, Inc., has signed a syndicated reseller agreement with Hawaii-based Spae International Communications, a global provider of personal telepresence and quality communication services.
To deliver a unified enterprise solution for telepresence with extensive global coverage and cost-effective interoperability, Teliris, a telepresence innovation leader, has entered into a partnership with Global Crossing, a global IP solutions provider.
Oakwood Worldwide, a global provider of temporary housing, announced a text message feature to ServiceTrack. ServiceTrack is the proprietary technology of Oakwood, which monitors a service request and provides management of data, round the clock. The users of Oakwood are now able to enjoy the facility of getting a text message update when their service request is completed.
Polycom, Inc., a major player in unified communications solutions, has signed a multi-year, strategic global agreement with Microsoft Corp. to deliver integrated end-to-end Unified Communications and to improve customers' business productivity.
Apptix – a provider of hosted Unified Communications services – is re-launching MailStreet.com, the e-commerce and educational site for Apptix's small business-focused MailStreet brand.
