SingleLink Unified Communications Across Mankato Area Public Schools Installed by HickoryTech

A five-year contract to provide SingleLink Unified Communications throughout Mankato Area Public Schools has been awarded to HickoryTech Corporation. The voice over Internet protocol phone system across 20 Mankato Area Public School sites including more than 1,250 phones will be installed, supported and managed by HickoryTech. An announcement in this regard has been made by HickoryTech Corporation, a top provider of integrated communications.

In a release, Doug Johnson, director of media and technology, Mankato Area Public Schools said, “We are very pleased to partner with HickoryTech and excited about the standardization and efficiencies this platform brings to our network. It’s great working with a local company who earned the project through low bid. Not only are we getting best in class telephony with numerous features including customized dial plans, but we are also able to achieve costs savings with a system that will support our growth and future technology initiatives.”
