MeetingZone, an independent conferencing and collaboration service provider, has announced that it has become a Cisco WebEx Authorized Channel Partner (News - Alert).
As a qualified Cisco partner, the Cisco WebEx Authorised Program allows MeetingZone to extend its existing collaboration offerings to include Cisco (News - Alert) WebEx solutions.
With the addition of Cisco WebEx solutions, MeetingZone expects to meet the predicted rise in European web conferencing over the next five years. Cisco WebEx solutions are delivered as software as a service, SaaS (News - Alert), to enable greater business productivity and faster responses to market changes while taking advantage of the Cisco WebEx Collaboration Cloud to provide secure collaborative experiences.
Stating that Cisco WebEx solutions are an important addition to the company’s existing Web conferencing portfolio, Tim Duffy, CEO at MeetingZone (News - Alert), said that users can, for the first time, benefit from the Cisco WebEx solutions’ functionality, now fully integrated with “our superior audio conferencing quality, our on-line transparent billing systems and MeetingZone’s superior customer service.”
Chris Jones, director of worldwide channels for Cisco Collaboration Software Group, said that Cisco WebEx solutions introduce a new way to expand the collaboration practice.
“By selling Cisco WebEx products and becoming a Cisco WebEx Authorised Channel Partner, MeetingZone has made an investment to offer customers solutions that connect entire business ecosystems, drive costs out of existing business processes, and lead them on the path of business transformation,” Jones said.
Last month, BDO LLP, the accountants and business advisers, selected MeetingZone for audio conferencing solution.
