IntelePeer, WorkSpace Collaborate to Offer Hosted Unified Communications Solution

July 13, 2010

IntelePeer Inc. specializing in the delivery of communications via a cloud-based infrastructure announced a partnership with WorkSpace Communications for the delivery of an easily deployable hosted unified communications or UC offering based on Microsoft Office Communication Server.

The announcement was made at the Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference 2010 in Washington.
Company sources added that the combination of IntelePeer's Quick Start SIP Trunking program, Voice Peering Network, and SuperRegistry with WorkSpace Communications' patent-pending Microsoft OCS environment will result in a complete, turnkey solution.
WorkSpace's MS OCS environment interoperates with any previously installed Microsoft Exchange implementation also. This will enable service providers to offer hosted UC, SIP trunking and on-demand communications services that can be deployed fast without making elaborate changes to related applications.
Bryan DiGiorgio, chief executive officer for WorkSpace Communications, "Our hosted environment makes it much easier and cost effective for service providers to offer Microsoft OCS-based, unified communications services, enabling them to extend their revenue stream and quickly meet growing customer demand."
IntelePeer's hosted SIP trunks are offered easily without up-front deployment risks and at less capital expenditure. IntelePeer simplifies telecommunications by delivering carrier-quality service over public or private Internet Protocol or IP connections via its advanced network infrastructure.
This eliminates the need for customers to change their current data provider or existing communications equipment thereby preventing delays associated with most service providers.
Margaret Norton, general manager, enterprise for IntelePeer said, "The IntelePeer Quick Start program is optimized for Microsoft OCS. We can turn around a hosted, Microsoft-certified SIP trunk as rapidly as five days, giving our partners and customers the agility they need for today's dynamic market."
WorkSpace Communications provides unified communications solutions leveraging an on-demand, Platform-as-a-Service approach. The company provides private label solutions to Systems Integrators, Cable Operators, Competitive Local Exchange Carriers and Value Added Resellers who are desirous of entering the unified communications arena. It provides a full suite of unified communications services including VoIP, broadband, Microsoft e-Mail and many other services.
