IntelePeer, WorkSpace Collaborate to Offer Hosted Unified Communications Solution

IntelePeer (News - Alert) Inc. specializing in the delivery of communications via a cloud-based infrastructure announced a partnership with WorkSpace Communications for the delivery of an easily deployable hosted unified communications or UC offering based on Microsoft (News - Alert) Office Communication Server.

The announcement was made at the Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference 2010 in Washington.

Company sources added that the combination of IntelePeer's Quick Start SIP Trunking program, Voice Peering Network, and SuperRegistry with WorkSpace Communications' patent-pending Microsoft OCS environment will result in a complete, turnkey solution.

WorkSpace's MS OCS environment interoperates with any previously installed Microsoft Exchange implementation also. This will enable service providers to offer hosted UC, SIP trunking and on-demand communications services that can be deployed fast without making elaborate changes to related applications.

This eliminates the need for customers to change their current data provider or existing communications equipment thereby preventing delays associated with most service providers.
