ACT Conferencing, a global provider of corporate audio conferencing, Web conferencing and video conferencing services, has announced several new service enhancements to improve its audio, Web and video conferencing solutions and customer support.
Enhanced Security: Pass code + PIN Option for Reserved Conferences
Using a valid email participants register online and receive an event confirmation containing a unique PIN. The PIN must be entered to access the call. It provides enhanced security and also offers the identification information of that caller to the moderators or speakers.
Web Meeting conference hosts are enabled by the ReadyConnect Web Meeting audiocast feature to stream the audio from an ACT ReadyConnect conference to Web Meeting participants’ computers. The participants of Web Meeting participants who receive the audiocast do not have to dial into the audio conference. Instead, using their computer speakers or headphones they are able to listen to the audio.
Guest Mute Override
Security for ReadyConnect conference calls is increased by Guest Mute. Hosts, with Guest Mute Override can have the option to begin reservationless calls in mute mode. Also, the participants can unmute themselves on an as-needed basis. This new feature is the direct result of customer requests and they find this feature important for large calls where participants may be dialing in while on the go which can sometimes cause noise interruptions. By contacting ACT customer services, Users can set their preferences.
New Hold Music
The hold music of ACT has been refreshed with tunes written and produced by an ACT employee.
Expanding Global Access
