RingCentral Reveals New VP APAC Regional Sales

RingCentral announced the appointment of Peter Hughes (News - Alert) to the role of Regional Sales Vice President for the Asia Pacific (APAC) region. Based out of Sydney, the industry vet is tasked with expanding the cloud communication provider’s presence in the region.

“Peter brings deep experience working with enterprises in the communications and collaboration space, and we’re excited to welcome him to RingCentral (News - Alert),” said Mitch Tarica, Senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales, RingCentral. “With his knowledge of the Asia Pacific channel and his proven expertise in hiring the right talent, we’re confident that Peter will establish a strong and dynamic team of sales and technical experts to work with our customers both in Australia and across the region.”

Hughes brings with him a track record of success at Cisco (News - Alert), previous to joining RingCentral. Over his 16 years with Cisco, he climbed the corporate ladder to reach the position of Director of Global Sales. Before Cisco, Hughes was national sales manager for the Siemens (News - Alert) Hicom communications platform.
