Sangoma Sends Cloud Communications to UK

The cloud communications space is anything but stationery, and as innovation pushes the limits of technology, this burgeoning technology is pushing presence to all points of the globe.

Sangoma Technologies (News - Alert) announced the release of Cloud PBXact UCaaS and SIPStation SIP Trunking service in the United Kingdom market.

"We've had great success with our cloud offerings in North America. Bringing our proven cloud model to the UK market utilising Sangoma's local UK operations, support and engineering presence, including using a UK data centre, will enable our customers to feel confident in their choice of Sangoma. Sangoma's cloud-based telephony solutions include collaboration and unified communications features, thus offering superior value" said Bill Wignall, CEO of Sangoma Technologies.

PBXact touts a feature set fit for the SMB space. The pocket-friendly cloud communications solution promises support for the modern mobile workforce including smartphones, desk phones and tablets.

SIPStation offers SMBs SIP Trunking service that leverages existing Internet connectivity to connect their existing phone system. Organizations aren’t forced to use voice-only analogue or ISDN, and only pay for needed capacity.

Wignall continued, "Our goal is to provide enterprise functionality to businesses of all sizes and give them a competitive edge by providing advanced services for seamless communications wherever they are, and whenever they want."

Sangoma is not one to sit on laurels, is making moves. Just a couple weeks ago it announced the acquisition of Digium (News - Alert), and now is set on expanding its international presence. Only time will tell what’s next.
