Fusion Vets Vaulted into Industry Leadership Roles

The proof is in the pudding. Actions speak louder than words. The cream always rises to the top. We’ve all heard these idioms ad nauseam, but there’s a reason they keep popping up: each holds truth. In business, merit must be rewarded. And when it is, it’s important to recognize those industry vets standing on the shoulders of giants steering technology from idea to fruition.

This week, I’d like to single out cloud communications company, Fusion, as two members of its senior leadership are taking to the spotlight.  Women in the Channel (WiC) announced that Vice President of Channel Sales at Fusion, and current board member will ascend to the role of President at the WiC. And, Gina Kennedy, Vice President of Marketing at Fusion is joining a new wave of Channel Partners 2018-19 Business Advisory Board

After serving as WiC President for two years, Director of National Channel Development for TPx, Hilary Gadda is passing the reins to Conrad; giving the channel veteran the opportunity to put her stamp on the not-for-profit’s direction.

“We are thrilled to have someone with Stacy’s experience serving as our new president,” said Gadda. “She brings a powerful energy to our organization. Stacy will make a big impact to grow WiC, while ensuring our members gain insight, knowledge and most importantly, a voice in the rapidly changing technology channel.”

As for Kennedy, she is joining the Channel Partners Business Advisory Board at a unique time. In addition to naming new Business Advisory Board members, but also Editorial Advisory Board members, as well.  Channel Partners and Channel Editors joined forces as one editorial entity, and there’s a lot of expert input required in crafting the programs and publications for the organization moving forward.

Fusion is a firm well-versed in navigating the cloud landscape, with an expanding market presence and portfolio, owing much of its success to a team determined to take this burgeoning space head on. Like I said, the proof is in the pudding.
